SHAPE OF WATER

Weather is the constant that unites us, we all experience its effects. Weather is beyond us and defines us. Weather is indifferent and unpredictable, a constant shapeshifter touching places and spaces, who stand like silent monuments witnessing. A series of paintings investigating ice loss and how the oceans are changing shape  and through temperatures rising we are losing native species in coastal areas, like native mussels in the Hebrides, Scotland. Images taken from a walking trip to  Iceland, these images once contained icebergs, these ice homes have since melted.
